A fictional universe of almost-hard science fiction: time travel in a single world, where history is rewritten and the damage is physical.
What it is
Chronodaemonia is my fictional universe. It is almost-hard science fiction about time travel in one world, with no branching timelines. History itself is rewritten along a second dimension of time, a change spreads through it gradually instead of all at once, and paradoxes are not errors to be explained away: they exist in the setting and leave scars.
Where it stands
Most of the work so far is the rules of the world. The first story, One More, is plotted but not yet written as prose: a man exiled from his settlement has to cross a field where causality has rotted, and strangers in suits like his own keep joining him. Chronoscope is the tool I am building to write stories like it.
