An Obsidian plugin that recolours the workspace by where you are: a folder, a tag or a kind of note can have its own mood, while the theme you chose stays in place.
What it is
Moods gives Obsidian contextual colours while keeping the theme selected in Obsidian. A mood is five source colours (accent, surface, text, warning and title), and the whole workspace palette is derived from them. Which mood is active depends on the note in front of you: its path, its tags and its frontmatter.
Working with colour
Colours are edited with a live preview. A harmony wheel places every role at its real hue and chroma, so a palette can be re-lit for dark or light without losing its character, or regenerated from the accent hue.
Where it stands
The Minimal theme is supported first; other themes are listed and can be requested. Moods has no accounts, telemetry or network calls, and it never writes to notes. I use it every day in my own vault; it is not published yet.
